What is Upstox?
Upstox is an online trading platform that provides equity trading, derivatives trading, and other trading options.
You can open a Demat account within a minute, just fill the online forms and submit your personal details such as PAN number, name, address, date of birth, etc., upload documents, and Upstox will review your details and after verification, your account is ready to trade.
How to Open Upstox Demat Account?
You can open upstox Demat account by online and offline mode.
The document required to Open upstox Demat account is aadhar card, PAN card, Income Proof, Photograph and your signature on blank paper.
You need to fill in all basic details and upload a required document and after verification, your account is created.
Your mobile number should be registered with aadhar card, otherwise, you will not able to open a Demat account online. In this case, you have to open a Demat account offline.
You have to take a printout of the offline form from the website and fill the offline form and send it to the provided address. You required Identity proof, Address proof, Income proof, and Signature. Note that your document should not self-attested.
You can submit PAN card as Identity proof, Driving License/Voter's ID/Aadhar card/Passport/Rent agreement/Latest utility bill as Address proof, Bank statement/Salary sleep/Latest ITR copy, or Form 16 as Income Proof. Note that Income proof not required in the case of Equity and Mutual funds.
Affix your passport size photo and sign across it. Note that the account opening fee is nonrefundable.
You need to complete IPV means in-person verification. This is required when your PAN card is not KYC compliant. After submitting all your details, IPV videos, and documents, your account will open within the next 2 days.
Why Upstox Account is Rejected?
Your upstox account is rejected if Your document is incomplete, your document images are not clear, Mismatch of name in PAN or Aadhar card, Mismatch in signature and bank details, and if IPV is not uploaded properly.
Account Opening Fee:
The account opening fee for the trading account is 200 Rs. There is no fee for opening a Demat account.

Upstox Pro web and Upstox Pro Mobile is trading software, with the help of this software you can trade easily. You need to pay only brokerage charges while using this software.
How to Add Money in Upstox?
You can add money to your upstox account with Netbanking or UPI. The easiest way to add money in Upstox is UPI. You can create an account in any UPI app and create a Virtual ID for payment.
You just need to add your payment method in Upstox and just send the request to add money via UPI. Enter your Virtual ID and it will send the request to your UPI app. Simply approve the request and money will be sent to upstox account from your UPI linked bank account.

Nominee:
You can add a nominee by sending a nominee form to upstox. You can also change the details of the nominee by sending a nominee form.

Is Upstox is SEBI Registered?
Yes. The upstox is registered with SEBI(Securities and Exchange Board of India). It is also registered with NSE, BSE, and MCX exchanges.

How to Buy Shares on Upstox?
1. Log in to your Upstox account with your username and password.
2. Click on the buy button and enter the number of shares you want to purchase.
3. Place an order.
4. You can find all your orders in the Orders section.
How to close the Upstox account Online?
You can not close the Upstox account online.
You need to download upstox account closure form online by visiting the official upstox website. After downloading fill the form and send it to upstox. Make sure there is no money left in your account before closing the account. Your upstox account is closed within 15 days. If it does not close within 15 days, You can also contact Upstox customer care.
